- Under Publishing, click on the Custom domain
- Add the domain for your blogger site

Different domain provider has different process of buying a domain. Lets set up a non-Google domain in blogger:
- Sing in to blogger
- Go to settings from the menu in the left
- Under Publishing, click on Custom domain
- Type the domain you purchased from your domain provider
- Upon saving, you will be shown an error with two CNAME, you need to add those two CNAME to your DNS zone.
- Blog CNAME: For the name, enter the name as subdomain like “www”, “blog”, en, in, etc. It will be shown in your primary domain as www.example.com, blog.example.com, en.example.com and in.example.com respectively. Enter the destination as “ghs.google.com”.
- Security CNAME: It is not specified, it is different for everyone because as the name suggests “Security CNAME”.
Redirecting a naked domain to www
If you want all the searched domains to redirect to your primary domain with subdomain like redirecting example.com and http://example.com to http://www.example.com then you have to add four A records in your DNS record.
- Go to your domain provider’s setting
- Open the DNS settings in your domain
- Add the following A records in the DNS settings
- 216.239.32.21
- 216.239.34.21
- 216.239.36.21
- 216.239.38.21
Enter A in the “Type or Label” field and the IP address in the “Target, Destination, Value or Points to” field and @ in the “Name” field. This four A records help properly set up a custom domain in blogger and ensures that the naked domain is redirected to the same subdomain, usually www.
